Dear friends,
Thank you for your patience with me as I took a break from posting for the last few months. Thanks to those of you who checked in to see if I was okay. And thanks as well to those of you who let me know you missed hearing from me. Thanks to all of you for your support in reading, and sometimes interacting with, what I share here.
I have had a challenging year but I am well and deeply grateful for all the gifts in the midst of the challenges. I am grateful, as well, for being able to begin posting here again. As always, thank you for joining me!
I plan to begin posting every Monday again. For those of you who subscribe to this blog, it will be showing up in your inbox. Otherwise you can find my posts either at juanitaryan.com or at the National Association for Christian Recovery. Please feel free to comment and respond to my posts. I love hearing from you.
The next several weeks I will be posting from my most recent book–which I co-authored with my dear friend Mary Rae. It is titled Notes To Our Older Selves: Suggestions for Aging With Grace. You can see it or order it on Amazon.
As Mary and I say in the introduction, it is a book about aging but it is also about finding our way in life at any age. I am excited to share some of the chapters with you here in the coming weeks.
Next week I will begin by posting from the introduction so you can get a sense of how we came to write this book. Writing it challenged us and helped us in ways that surprised us.
We pray that it will challenge and help you as well.
With so much love and gratitude for you,
Juanita

Looking forward to hearing from you on this very timely subject! I’m in my last year of teaching, but know that I’m not able to stop working….I know the Lord has plans for my life!

Thank you, Barbara. It sounds like a year of transition and unknowns for you. Bless you as you continue to trust the Spirit’s leading.
